OK so I've been sitting on this for like a month and I finally get to talk about it.
I'm teaching at Creator Summer Camp! π
It's a free 3-day virtual craft summit happening June 16-18, with 18 different makers (including yours truly), and it's 100% free to attend.
I'm doing a beginner-friendly, 2 color, BIG outdoor macrame plant hanger workshop, which I'm pretty excited about.
And you're invited!
Here's the deets:
- Totally free to attend
- Three days of workshops from a bunch of different makers (me included)
- Each day's sessions are live for 24 hours so you can watch on your own schedule
- I'm teaching a beginner-friendly macrame plant hanger workshop
- Honestly the lineup is really fun and I'm excited to see what everyone else brings
The summer camp vibe is exactly what it sounds like, by the way. Easy, low-stakes, summer-y activities you can do at the kitchen table or out in the yard.
Some workshops are great for kids, some are more adult-focused, and some work well for both. It's all just fun, hands-on stuff that's perfect for slow summer afternoons.
As for mine: an adult will need to handle the cord setup (which I walk through step by step), but once that's done the actual knotting is totally kid-friendly.
And at the end you can let the kiddos plant some pretty flowers inside the finished hanger, which is always fun! πΈ
