It's handmade gift season, and I've got a fun way to kick it off.
I'm teaching at the Elves' Workshop! ๐
It's a free online holiday craft summit from HobbyScool, happening November 10-12, with a whole lineup of crafty makers teaching giftable projects.
My workshop is Coil a Handmade Gift Basket (Where the Wrapping Is the Gift), and it might be my favorite thing I've taught in one of these events.
Here's the idea:
- We make a small spiral coiled basket together (with a gorgeous spiral on the front to finish)
- Then I show you how I fill it with a jar of homemade hot cocoa mix, a mug, and a few fun treats
- You end up with a finished gift that is already wrapped
- And your person keeps the basket long after the cocoa is gone
- Never coiled a basket? Totally fine. If you can wrap cord around cord, you can do this. It's so much fun!
Everyone who watches can sign up for my free printable Handmade Gift Basket Kit, because I don't want you scrambling for the details afterward.
It comes with the full written basket pattern (with pics!), my cocoa recipe in 2 jar sizes (half pint and pint), printable jar labels, and 8 cute gift tags.
It's free, but if it's not your thing, no hard feelings at all.
If you've got a few people on your list who would love something handmade, come hang out with me.
